I noticed a lot of changes in this submit (likely due to the changes we
had to make to run python 3.10), but I did see the exercises.md updated
in this submit as well.
It was different in this lab to be working with a data set instead of
writing code. I still found that you could check your work as you went
and in the later exercises found myself adding one pipe at a time to
help ensure I was working towards getting the answer. The thinking
process and troubleshooting felt the same, but the skills I was using
were different. I feel like I am becoming more familiar with using the
terminal and was starting to see how pipes can be useful in more
advanced computer programming.
I felt like I got each of the exercises to work, but sometimes thought
(especially for the last 2) that there may have been more than one way
to do them. I was also curious if there were other pipe functions that
could help to complete the task that were not covered in the lab.
I’ve found Discord to be a great resource for help and we have been
using our Sunday meetings to check in and work through any sticking
points.
