I think your networking diagram is a great summary of the ideas we covered in the networking unit. I agree with you on the importance of other aspects of networking, including those you named, "domain name system, TCP/IP and physical networks." You might be interestedin a simulation of TCP/IP I developed when I was a 6th grade CS teacher!
